Software Developer

This is a permanent full time position at our Nepean Ontario facility.   You will be working primarily on custom Windows applications for our products including communication and control logic for products.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Translate our business needs into client-friendly solutions.
  • Design and Develop Windows Applications for new hardware products.
  • Diagnose and resolve problems in our existing applications.
  • Microcontroller development experience (Arm microcontrollers).
  • Identify potential improvements in performance, user experience, and communication interfaces for applications and communication interfaces with hardware.
  • Assist in the development of other software solutions that may be required

Must haves

  • Formal training in software development.
  • 5 years of experience working with WPF, MVVM, MVC, and Dependency Injection.
  • 3 years of experience in C development with Arm microcontrollers.
  • Experience using source code control, more specifically Git.
  • Visual Studio proficiency.
  • Ability to create support documentation for all new and existing applications.
  • Strong teamwork skills.
  • Fast learner.
  • Like to embrace new technologies.
  • Positive attitude towards challenges.

Nice to haves

  • Unit testing knowledge
  • Experience working with USB interfaces.
  • Strong c# skills
  • Web application development
  • AWS knowledge
  • IoT development knowledge


Picker, Counter, Receiver (PCR)

Requirements:

  • High School diploma
  • Some experience with receiving or inventory control
  • Physical fitness required to handle bulky and heavy inventory
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • A positive attitude and willingness to do this kind of work
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment is considered an asset
  • Experience working with a ISO9001 management system is considered an asset

Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Receiving inbound goods into the database
  • Scanning incoming paperwork
  • Working with the inventory control specialist to place incoming goods in the appropriate physical location
  • Pick items from inventory using a bill of materials for the production teams
  • Adjust work orders and stock using database
  • Count inventory and make stock adjustments
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies and make process recommendations to improve controls.

Laser Assembly Technician

Requirements:

  • College diploma in electrical or mechanical assembly (or equivalent experience)
  • Ability to work full time hours, Monday to Friday
  • English communication skills
  • An excellent attitude and sense of humour (we have to work with you, so this is pretty important)

  • Laser assembly
  • Follow quality documentation and procedures
  • Maintain accurate records and complete inspection check lists of assembled parts
  • Maintain a working knowledge of the company’s quality system and procedures
