Laser Vessel Technician
Description
This is a permanent full-time position at our Nepean Ontario facility.
Working from assembly drawings and written procedures, you will assemble or test mechanical and electrical components to tight tolerances. This includes the use of various tools including calibrated torque drivers and crimping tools.
Requirements
Experience in a mechanical or electrical assembly role
The physical ability to lift components and assemblies (up to 10kg)
Completion of a manufacturing technician program at the college level, or equivalent experience.
Strong English language skills (spoken and written)
Excellent attitude, sense of humour, and personality. We have to work with you - so this is key.
A genuine interest in this kind of work.
Demonstrated attention to detail.
Must be organized and prepared to support the company’s ISO certification by following procedures, and completing checklists and reports.
Nice to haves
Experience with wire harness assembly or testing
Basic knowledge of electric circuits
Electrical Engineering Technologist
Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Electrical Engineer/Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and experience in the design, analysis, diagnostics, and testing of electrical components and circuits for industrial products.
Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and support electrical hardware and components.

Update existing electronics modules for our products.

Collaborate with electronics and manufacturing companies to manufacture designed products.

Conduct electrical system analysis and simulations.

Perform electrical system testing and troubleshooting.

Work with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.

Support electronic reviews/certifications for new and existing products to meet international standards.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.

5 years experience in electrical hardware/component design.

Hands-on experience with electrical components.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, codes, and standards.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in industrial component design and troubleshooting.

Knowledge of high voltage component design.

Knowledge of Altium Designer software.

Ability to coach/mentor other team members.

Certified Engineering Technologist (CET) designation.
Laser Assembly Technician

- Ability to work full time hours, Monday to Friday
- English communication skills
- An excellent attitude and sense of humour (we have to work with you, so this is pretty important)
